Non-Profit making dog rescue

Adopt a Malinois
  • Very few Belgian Malinois are suitable as pets and end up needing to be rehomed and sometimes waiting for a long time for their forever home. Here at New Dawn Mailinois rehoming we find the right place for the dog. All the team at New Dawn are volunteers  and do this for the love of the breed. It is very time consuming and costly for the team, this is why we kindly ask for donations to continue the work.

Dogs looking for a forever home

Stolen or missing dogs.

Storm Buddy and Monty are still missing  or stolen.
Last known whereabouts was their Foster address in Cambridgeshire.
We now know the Foster has moved our dogs around numerous times and has possibly illegally rehomed two of our dogs.
We have done everything in our power to amicably resolve this situation with our former Foster and a number of civilised and appropriate attempts have been to facilitate the return of our dogs or gain knowledge of their whereabouts.
These dogs are and always have been legally owned by New Dawn they are Foster dogs placed with a Foster who DOES NOT have the authority to rehome any of these dogs without my personal authorisation.
If you have any of these dogs in your care or believe that you have adopted them please contact us URGENTLY these dogs are missing or stolen dogs and logged with the relevant agencies as such.

Save a Belgian Malinois

MakING a Donation

Can you imagine, if as a society we did not have to ask generous people to donate to a dog re-homing group. What that would actuality mean is everyone who took on a dog or other animal would be looking after their animal as they should. However as we all know this is not always the case and it is left to other people to pick up the pieces. That is why we desperately need your donations to continue in our work. Please donate by clicking the donate button below and you will help us achieve great things for rescued dogs.  As this is a non profit organisation we are very grateful for any donation that is made, however small, to help with things such as transport, medical care and food to name a few.
What we do

Our Services

Rescuing DOGS

We hope to raise the public’s awareness of this truly outstanding breed in the correct manner and educate people on the needs and requirements of the Malinois. Therefore, hopefully reducing the number of dogs being bought by members of the public without any prior knowledge of the breed.

Animal Well Being

If you take on a dog for re-homing then rest assured that every dog that passes through New Dawn Malinois Re-homing will have a lifetime of support and advise.

Finding dogs a Home

The re-homing of Belgian Malinois that are unwanted and abandoned into working homes. These homes may be with the police, private security, medical alert, anti-poaching, prison and fire service.

Spaying & Neutering

We do not breed from, nor allow breeding from any of the dogs’ in New Dawn’s care. We operate a strict neutering and spaying policy.
What Drives Us

Our Mission

New Dawn Malinois Rehoming was founded in 2017.
Our mission is to place Belgian Malinois that are unwanted and abandoned into working homes. These homes may be with the police, private security, medical alert, anti-poaching, prison and fire service.
It is our hope that by doing this we can help stop the countless number of Malinois’ that have been bought as pets by members of the public, from being dumped, put into pet type rescue centres, or sadly, euthanized.
Many times, the owners of these dogs seek help from trainers and vets.
Due to the nature of this very complex and specialist breed they are often deemed to be dangerous, aggressive and untrainable.
The owners are then advised to have their beloved pet euthanized.
At New Dawn Malinois Rehoming we have worked hard to establish and promote awareness of our cause and the dogs in our care.
We also offer advice and guidance to people thinking of having a Malinois.
When a dog is rehomed from New Dawn Malinois Rehoming they leave us with life time support, we take responsibility for every dog in our care even after an adoption has happened.
If for any reason the new owner is unable to keep their dog, New Dawn will help by taking the dog into our care and finding a suitable new home for the dog.
We run solely on donations from members of the public. We also have a fantastic team of volunteers who foster, transport, carry out home checks and fundraising for us.
We hope to be able to raise enough funds to be able to open both northern and southern centres. In doing this we hope to be able to care for and house more dogs and place them in experienced, knowledgeable and long term working homes.
We do not breed from nor allow breeding from any of the dogs’ in New Dawn’s care. We operate a strict neutering and spaying policy.
We hope to raise the public’s awareness of this truly outstanding breed in the correct manner and educate people on the needs and requirements that the Malinois. Therefore, hopefully reducing the number of dogs being bought by members of the public without any prior knowledge of the breed.
